Trafficability is guaranteed in road sections of Central and Bajo Mayo Special Project of San Martin Regional Government
The Consorcio Vial San Martín (CVSM) integrated by the companies Ingenieros Civiles y Contratistas Generales S.A. (ICCGSA) and Corporación Mayo, informs that they have been working steadily in the routine maintenance service in seven road sections of Special Central and Bajo Mayo Project, especially in the road that leads to Ledoy (From km 015+000 to Km 060+390). These routine conservation jobs have as a goal to guarantee the trafficability of the seven road sections of this project in the San Martin Regional Government.
The Consorcio Vial San Martin also mentions that its heavy equipment (excavators, front loaders and dump trucks) has been transported in order to attend possible emergency situations, especially in the road section Nuevo Lima – Cusco – Barranca Km 65+670, since it is frequently affected by geographical and natural problems as rainy season.
CVSM exhorts drivers and users of these seven road sections of Central and Bajo Mayo Special Project to drive carefully because there are serious winding roads. CVSM indicates that all road sections are paved and after the rainy season, they will apply an asphalt layer to protect the road.
“We are alert in case of any eventuality that could happen in all our roads. The rainy season could bring trafficability problems. We are prepared to guarantee the free vehicular transit” expressed Elmer Cirilo, Road Manager of CVSM.
