The Ministry of Health inspects the progress of construction work at Villa El Salvador New Emergency Hospital
The Ministry of Health, Aníbal Velásquez visited the facilities of the Villa El Salvador New Emergency Hospital in order to see the progress of construction works in charge of the hospital consortium: Ingenieros Civiles y Contratistas Generales – ICCGSA, a Peruvian company with 50 years of experience in the engineering and construction area; and INCOT.
The hospital infrastructure will benefit more than 600,000 citizens of South Lima and it will be delivered in the last quarter of this year, affirmed the Ministry.
The health facility of level II is built on a land of 43 532 m2. It will have 8 surgery centers and 2 delivery rooms, doctor’s offices, emergency rooms and a heliport for emergencies that require that patients be immediately transfer to more complex hospitals.
A highlighted feature is that the new hospital will have natural gas facilities which mean a significant saving of energy; also, it will preserve the environment.
