ICCGSA was awarded the contract to manage and maintain the road corridor of Cañete – Lunahuana – Dv. Pampas
The Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC for its Spanish acronym) and through Provias Nacional awarded the contract to the Peruvian company ICCGSA – Ingenieros Civiles y Contratistas Generales S.A., in order to manage, improve and maintain the road corridor Cañete – Lunahuana – DV Yauyos- Ronchas-Chupaca-Huancayo-Dv Pampas.
The company won the concession by having the highest score in its technical proposal, with an economic offer of S/.225'428,188.48 which confirms its experience in the management of road projects at national level. The contract has a 5 year term.
It is important to mention that in 2008, ICCGSA was in charge of maintenance works for this important section that extends all along 348 km and it works as an alternate road to Carretera Central.
