ICCGSA starts works in road corridor of Juliaca-Puno
- The investment amount of road corridor is S/. 289 967 million nuevos soles (Peruvian currency)
- The President of the Republic, Ollanta Humala, participated in the official initiation of road maintenance service executed by ICCGSA.
- The project will benefit around 1 415 608 people.
Lima, June 23th, 2016.- The Peruvian construction company ICCGSA starts the road maintenance service of Juliaca – Puno road corridor. This work will benefit around 1 415 608 people at the South of Peru. The President of the Republic along with the Minister of Transport and Communications, as well as the regional authorities participated in the ceremony that launch works for improvement and maintenance of Juliaca-Puno road corridor, a service executed by ICCGSA, with a duration of 5 years, and with an extension of 438 km. The investment amount of road corridor is S/. 289 967 million nuevos soles.
The road connects districts of San Pedro de Putina, Punco, San Juan del Oro, Yanahuaya, Alto Inambari, Sandia (Sandia Province), Anamea, Quilcapuncu, Putina (San Antonio de Putina Province), Huatasani, Huancane, Taraco, Vilque Chico (Huancane Province), Saman (Azangaro Province), Juliaca, Caracoto (San Ramon Province), Moho, Conima, Tilali (Moho Province). In total, 438.14 km.
The President of the Republic, Ollanta Humala, was very satisfied with the execution of the work. “These interventions put into service, represent the beginning for the accessibility of public services and modernity. This generates commercial, tourisms and agro industrial dynamism for the benefit of all Peruvians”, he expressed.
