ICCGSA IN THE SERVICE OF MINING SECTOR

Lima, September 23th, 2015.- ICCGSA, a Peruvian engineering and construction company, considers offering value and profitability proposals for the mining sector in Perumin, the most important mining convention of the country. It delineates business strategies for a context that presents difficulties but also new opportunities.
“The biggest mining projects are waiting for better conditions not only a price level but also a country level. Commodities prices are not as low as it is said but investors are used to fast returns. Moreover, financing conditions are more difficult than 5-6 years ago due to external facts”, said Ricardo Freidenson, ICCGSA General Manager. “Mining companies who are operating will keep having earthworks, extending tailing ponds, giving maintenance to their roads; therefore, we will keep providing our services to this sector.
In order to face challenges of this new scene, ICCGA, as a mining provider, offers its clients proposals that can help the sector to be more dynamic from a cost point of view. The company offers many specialized services, among them: buildings and urban habilitation, earthworks, construction of accesses, assembly of structures and equipments, installation of pipelines, construction of tailing ponds.
In this area, ICCGSA has implemented important works such as construction of accesses, embankments and mining platforms in the Toromocho project in 2012. For Antamina, the construction of a concentrator plant with a roofed area of 29.810 m2 in 2000. Also, ICCGSSA has worked the access to Central Hidroelectica Quitaracsa and it built the Central Hidroelectrica Cheves that was recently opened.
Additionally, ICCGSA has the Gruas and Izajes company that render services of high tonnage cranes for clients of mining, energy and industrial sectors in our country. Among our clients are Antamina, Volcan, Miski Cayo Mining, Cerro Verde, FL Smith Chinalco.
The safety requirement of clients in mining, energy areas is high due to high risk operations and distant locations. ICCGSA works under an integrated management system that helps it to accomplish the highest standards of safety and care of environment in all its services. As a result, Las Bambas mining congratulated ICCGSA for achieving 195 thousand man-hours with no accidents in 2013. In 2012, the Chinalco mining congratulated ICCGSA for achieving 500 thousand man-hours with no accidents hours men without incapacitating injuries.
