ICCGSA ensures the recovery of critical sectors of the Huánuco-La Unión-Dv Antamina highway affected by the rain
The company Ingenieros Civiles y Contratistas Generales S.A. (ICCGSA) informs that it has deployed its heavy machinery and qualified technical personnel to carry out the works to recover three critical sectors of the Huánuco–La Unión–Huallanca–Dv. Antamina highway of Provias Nacional.
The road manager of ICCGSA, Elmer Cirilo, explained that in Km 267+240 a platform erosion has occurred due to a lower slope slide. There are also problems with the structure of a bridge in km 274+420. Finally, another erosion occurred which has damaged the abutments of a bridge in km 332.
“These are the three critical points that we have on the highway and that are affecting vehicle traffic. We are working with our team on the recovery of the road, and we expect to restrict traffic this week”, he said.
It is important to state that the company ICCGSA executed the supplementary contract No. 021-2014-MTC/20 with Provias Nacional of the Ministry of Transport and Communications in order to continue with the road maintenance works until April next year.
