ICCGSA and CONCAR signed an agreement to form the Sierra Road Consortium
- The companies ICCGSA and CONCAR will be in charge of road maintenance of road sections between Dv. Abancay and Dv. Ayaviri.
- The project of 569 km in length will have an investment of S/. 334’556,03
The company ICCGSA - Ingenieros Civiles y Contratistas Generales S.A and the company CONCAR will be equal partners to form the Sierra Road Consortium. It will render services of management, improvement and road maintenance of service level in the Road Corridor: Emp. Pe - 3s (Dv. Abancay) – Chuquibambilla – Dv. Chalhuahuacho – Santo Tomas – Velille – Yauri – Hector Tejada – Emp. Pe-3s (Ayaviri). Overall, 569 km which will be equivalent to an investment of S/. 334’556,034 (Peruvian currency).
“Our experience in construction and maintenance of roads supports us. We have more than 50 years of experience and we have trained professionals for the development of this work that will benefit the population” mentioned Manuel Saavedra Chirinos, Deputy Manager of Works Maintenance at ICCGSA
The execution term of this work is 5 years, being as a final goal to improve and ensure a proper trafficability in the sectors of service levels for passenger and cargo transportation. As a result, we will have a road infrastructure that guarantees the continuity of transit, fluidity and safety for passenger in all the road corridor; reducing vehicle operating costs and driving time for the benefit of population of Apurímac, Cusco and Puno.
